Description
Warm Boursin Dip with Crostini is a creamy baked cheese appetizer made with Boursin, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, and toasted baguette slices for an easy party dip, holiday appetizer, or warm entertaining snack.
Ingredients
8 ounces Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs cheese
4 ounces cream cheese softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese divided
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese divided
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 baguette sliced into thin rounds
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a small baking dish or oven safe skillet.
2. In a medium bowl, stir together the Boursin cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, black pepper, half of the mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan until smooth and well combined.
3. Spread the dip mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
4. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan over the top of the dip.
5. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush both sides with olive oil, and season lightly with salt.
6. Bake the dip for 18 to 22 minutes until hot and bubbly with a lightly golden top.
7. During the last 8 to 10 minutes of baking, toast the crostini until crisp and golden around the edges.
8. Remove the dip from the oven, let it rest for 3 to 5 minutes, then sprinkle with chopped parsley.
9. Serve warm with the crostini on the side for dipping.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese so the dip blends smoothly without lumps.
Watch the crostini closely near the end of baking because thin baguette slices can toast quickly.
For extra color and flavor, add a light sprinkle of chopped chives or a drizzle of hot honey just before serving.
