Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
2 cups uncooked pasta
2 ½ cups beef broth
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
3. Stir in diced tomatoes with juice, uncooked pasta, and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes until pasta is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed. Stir occasionally.
5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top. Cover for 2 minutes until melted.
6. Stir, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm.
Notes
