Description

Reindeer Food is a quick and festive holiday snack mix made with Chex cereal, pretzels, white chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallows, and Christmas candy for an easy no bake treat that is perfect for parties, gifting, and holiday movie nights.

Ingredients

6 cups Rice Chex cereal

2 cups mini pretzels

12 ounces white chocolate chips

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1 1/2 cups holiday M&M’s

1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

3 tablespoons holiday sprinkles

Instructions

1. Add the Rice Chex cereal, mini pretzels, holiday M&M’s, and mini marshmallows to a large mixing bowl and gently toss to combine.

2. Place the white chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl and heat in 20 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and fully melted.

3. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal mixture and gently fold everything together until lightly coated.

4. Spread the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet or large tray.

5. Sprinkle the holiday sprinkles over the top while the coating is still soft.

6. Let the Reindeer Food sit at room temperature until set, then break it into clusters and serve or package.

Notes

Keep the stirring gentle so the cereal stays crisp and does not break apart too much.

Add the sprinkles right after spreading the mixture out so they stick before the coating firms up.

Store the finished mix in an airtight container at room temperature for the best texture.
