Ingredients
1 cup whole milk
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned and well-drained)
1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
1. Warm the milk until just lukewarm, then combine with yeast, sugar, and melted butter. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2. Add eggs, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 8 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise until doubled.
3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mix until creamy.
4. Roll the dough into a large rectangle. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly, top with diced peaches, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 8–10 even rolls.
6. Place the rolls into a buttered baking dish and let rise again until puffy, about 30–45 minutes.
7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
8. While still warm, drizzle with glaze made by mixing powdered sugar and milk. Serve fresh and enjoy.
Notes
Let your dough rise in a warm, draft-free area for the best texture.
Use firm ripe peaches or drain canned ones thoroughly to avoid sogginess.
You can prepare the rolls a day ahead and refrigerate before the second rise.
