Description
This Iced White Chocolate Strawberry Latte is a creamy, refreshing coffeehouse-style drink made with espresso, milk, strawberries, and white chocolate for a sweet fruity latte that is perfect for summer mornings, brunch, or an easy homemade iced coffee treat.
Ingredients
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
2 tablespoons white chocolate chips
1 ounce espresso
3/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon sugar, optional
1 1/4 cups ice
Whipped cream, optional for topping
Instructions
1. Blend the fresh strawberries until smooth. Add the sugar if needed and blend again until the mixture is silky.
2. Melt the white chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of the milk in a small microwave-safe bowl, heating in short bursts and stirring until smooth.
3. Brew the espresso and stir it into the melted white chocolate until fully combined.
4. Spoon the strawberry puree into the bottom of a tall glass.
5. Fill the glass with ice, then pour in the remaining milk.
6. Slowly pour the white chocolate espresso mixture over the milk and ice.
7. Stir well before drinking and top with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
Use ripe strawberries for the sweetest and brightest flavor.
Let the espresso cool slightly before pouring so the ice does not melt too fast.
For a stronger coffee flavor, use a double shot of espresso.
