Description

This Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon recipe is a fast and flavorful seafood dinner idea that features seared salmon coated in a sticky, sweet-savory garlic glaze. Perfect for weeknight meals, this salmon dish is quick to prepare, packed with protein, and pairs beautifully with rice, noodles, or vegetables. A go-to for healthy dinner inspiration and easy salmon recipes.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets

3 tablespoons honey

3 garlic cloves, minced

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for 2 minutes. Remove and set aside.

3. Reduce the heat, then sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Stir and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

4. Return the salmon fillets to the pan. Spoon the glaze over the salmon, cooking for another 2–3 minutes until the glaze is sticky and salmon is fully cooked.

5. Serve hot with your choice of sides and drizzle with extra glaze from the pan.

Notes

Use skin-on salmon for better searing and easier flipping.

Do not overcook the salmon or it will turn dry—remove once flaky and opaque.

Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or ginger to spice up the glaze if desired.
