Description
Chocolate Cream Cold Brew is a smooth and refreshing iced coffee drink made with bold cold brew, rich chocolate cream, and a touch of vanilla for a homemade coffeehouse treat. This easy chocolate cold brew recipe is perfect for summer mornings, afternoon coffee breaks, or anyone craving a creamy iced coffee with mocha flavor.
Ingredients
1 cup cold brew coffee
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 to 1 1/2 cups ice cubes
Instructions
1. In a small bowl or jar, add the heavy cream, milk, cocoa powder, chocolate syrup, and vanilla extract. Whisk or froth until the mixture is smooth, lightly thickened, and still pourable.
2. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
3. Pour the cold brew coffee over the ice, leaving a little space at the top for the chocolate cream.
4. Gently spoon or pour the chocolate cream over the cold brew.
5. Serve immediately and stir before drinking if you want the flavors fully blended.
Notes
Use well chilled cold brew for the smoothest and most refreshing flavor.
Do not overwhip the chocolate cream or it will become too thick to pour nicely over the coffee.
For a sweeter drink, stir in a little extra chocolate syrup before adding the topping.
