Description

Chicken Parmesan Sliders are cheesy, saucy, pull-apart baked sandwiches made with crispy chicken, marinara, mozzarella, Parmesan, and soft slider rolls. This easy chicken sliders recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners, party food, game day snacks, and family-friendly comfort food.

Ingredients

12 slider rolls

4 breaded chicken cutlets

1 1/4 cups marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

cooking spray, for the baking dish

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally without separating them, then place the bottom half in the baking dish.

3. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the bottom layer of rolls.

4. Arrange the breaded chicken cutlets evenly over the cheese, trimming as needed to fit.

5. Spoon the marinara sauce evenly over the chicken.

6. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese.

7. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.

8. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and remaining Parmesan cheese.

9. Brush the butter mixture all over the tops of the rolls.

10. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.

11. Remove the foil and bake for 8 to 10 minutes more, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.

12. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Use fully cooked crispy chicken so the sliders stay easy to assemble and bake evenly.

Do not overdo the marinara or the bottoms of the rolls can turn too soft.

For the best texture, reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer instead of the microwave.
