Ingredients
1 ½ cups cooked white rice
6 oz thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye)
½ cup corn kernels
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1 tbsp sliced green onions (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook the white rice ahead of time and keep warm for serving.
2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the thinly sliced beef in oil for 2–3 minutes until just cooked. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt the butter, add garlic and corn, and sauté for 2–3 minutes until golden and fragrant.
4. In a bowl or skillet, layer the hot rice, cooked beef, and corn mixture. Add another pat of butter if desired.
5. Drizzle soy sauce over the top and season generously with cracked black pepper.
6. Stir everything together while hot and garnish with green onions before serving.
