2 pounds ground beef
1 can (29 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (29 oz) kidney beans, drained
1 can (29 oz) pinto beans, drained
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 can (14.5 oz) stewed tomatoes
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped yellow bell pepper
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup water
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion, celery, and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix well to coat the meat and veggies.
