Description

Voodoo Egg Rolls are crispy, spicy appetizers filled with andouille sausage, bell peppers, cream cheese, and Cajun flavors. These Cajun egg rolls are perfect for parties and game nights, served with a zesty Voodoo dipping sauce.

Ingredients

12 egg roll wrappers

1 lb andouille sausage, diced

1 cup cream cheese

1 cup diced bell peppers

1/2 cup diced red onion

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Cajun seasoning

Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Cook diced sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.

2. Add bell peppers and red onion, sauté until soft.

3. Turn off heat and stir in cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning. Mix until creamy.

4. Place egg roll wrapper on surface; add 2–3 tbsp of filling. Fold, roll tightly, and seal with water.

5. Heat oil to 350°F. Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes until golden.

6. Mix mayo, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, and pickle juice to make the dipping sauce.

7. Serve hot with sauce on the side or drizzled on top.

Notes

Make sure the filling is cool before wrapping to prevent tearing.

Don’t overcrowd the frying pan for even cooking.

Freeze before frying for make-ahead convenience.
