Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Lower heat, add butter and garlic to skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Stir in heavy cream and let the sauce thicken slightly. Add parmesan and whisk until smooth.
6. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
7. Garnish with parsley before serving.
