Ingredients
1 lb steak tips
8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
1 cup heavy cream
1 ½ tbsp Cajun seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove and rest.
2. Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
3. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes. Stir in Parmesan until melted. Season with additional Cajun seasoning if desired.
4. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, adding a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen. Return steak tips and toss gently to heat through.
5. Serve immediately topped with extra Parmesan and black pepper.
Notes
Let steak rest after searing to retain juices.
Use pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
Add bell peppers or mushrooms for variation.
