Description

This Tasty Pumpkin Pie recipe is a creamy, spiced holiday classic with smooth pumpkin filling, flaky crust, and cozy autumn flavor. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any dessert table.


Ingredients

1 15 oz can pumpkin puree

1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

2 large eggs

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 9-inch unbaked pie crust


Instructions

1. Press your pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges. Chill it in the fridge while you prepare the filling.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.

3. Pour the filling into the prepared crust. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for 15 minutes.

4. Reduce the oven heat to 350°F and bake for an additional 35–40 minutes, or until the center is just set and slightly wobbly.

5. Cool completely on a wire rack, then chill for at least 2 hours before slicing. Serve with whipped cream or a dusting of cinnamon.

Notes

Use canned pure pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling.

Chill the crust before baking to prevent shrinking.

Pie can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
