Description

A quick and creamy Tasty Instant Pot Chicken Alfredo made with tender chicken, fettuccine pasta, and a rich Parmesan garlic sauce. This one-pot dinner is perfect for busy weeknights. Learn how to make Instant Pot Alfredo with ease in under 30 minutes!


Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into chunks

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

4 cups chicken broth

8 ounces fettuccine pasta, broken in half

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

1. Turn the Instant Pot to sauté mode and melt the butter. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

2. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until lightly browned.

3. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits.

4. Break pasta in half and layer over the chicken without stirring. Press down gently.

5. Seal the lid and pressure cook on high for 6 minutes. Quick release when done.

6. Open the lid, stir pasta to loosen. Add cream and Parmesan cheese.

7. Stir until smooth and creamy. Let sit a few minutes to thicken.

8. Adjust seasoning and serve hot. Garnish if desired.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.

If sauce is too thick after sitting, stir in a splash of broth or cream.

You can add cooked broccoli or spinach for extra veggies.
