Ingredients

1 box Twinkies (about 10-12), sliced lengthwise

1 lb (450g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup heavy whipping cream

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

Extra whole strawberries for topping

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Line the bottom of a baking dish with sliced Twinkies, cream-side up.
  5. Spread half the cream mixture over the Twinkies evenly.
  6. Add a layer of sliced strawberries on top.
  7. Repeat with another layer of Twinkies, remaining cream, and decorate with strawberries.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
