Ingredients
9 oz cheese tortellini
2 chicken breasts
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp red chili flakes
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
2. In a skillet with olive oil over medium heat, sear the chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
3. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the garlic until golden and fragrant.
5. Add more chili flakes if desired, then pour in the heavy cream. Simmer gently.
6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens.
7. Add the cooked tortellini and toss to coat in the sauce.
8. Slice the chicken and layer it over the pasta.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
