Description

Spicy Cajun Honey Butter Chicken & Pasta is a bold and creamy Southern-style dish that blends sweet honey butter with Cajun-spiced chicken and pasta. This comforting recipe is easy, flavorful, and perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or an impressive weekend meal.


Ingredients

1 ½ pounds chicken thighs

1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

3 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

12 ounces pasta (penne, linguine, or rigatoni)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)


Instructions

1. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken until browned and fully cooked. Set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté briefly.

4. Stir in honey and a bit more Cajun seasoning. Let it bubble and thicken slightly.

5. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until creamy.

6. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in the sauce.

7. Add cooked pasta and mix until evenly coated.

8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for juicier, more flavorful results.

Add extra Cajun seasoning for more heat if desired.

Loosen leftover pasta with a splash of cream or milk when reheating.
