Description

This Spicy Cajun Chicken Rigatoni with Velveeta Garlic Cream Sauce is a bold and creamy pasta recipe featuring tender chicken breast seasoned with Cajun spices, rigatoni pasta, and a rich Velveeta garlic cream sauce. Ingredients

12 oz rigatoni pasta

2 large chicken breasts

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp olive oil

8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 cup heavy cream

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp butter

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. Slice the chicken breast into strips and toss with Cajun seasoning.

2. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook rigatoni until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the seasoned chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

5. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently. Add Velveeta cubes and stir until melted into a smooth sauce.

6. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.

7. Return the cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet and stir until well coated. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.

8. Serve hot with optional garnish like parsley or extra Cajun seasoning.

Notes

Use penne or fusilli if rigatoni isn’t available.

For extra heat, add cayenne or hot sauce.

Don’t overcook the cream sauce—keep it on a low simmer.
