Ingredients
250 g steak
200 g pasta
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Season steak with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak to desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
3. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain the rest.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add more Cajun seasoning.
5. Pour in heavy cream and let simmer until slightly thickened.
6. Toss pasta in the sauce, add Parmesan, and adjust consistency with pasta water if needed.
7. Slice steak thinly and place over pasta. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Rest steak before slicing to keep it juicy.
Lower heat before adding Parmesan to prevent clumping.
Add pasta water gradually to control sauce consistency.
