Description

This Spicy Cajun Bowtie Pasta with Beef, Sausage & Creamy Garlic Sauce is a bold, comforting pasta dish combining smoky sausage, savory beef, and creamy garlic sauce infused with Cajun seasoning. Perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings, this hearty recipe is loaded with flavor and can be customized for your spice preference.


Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

12 oz smoked sausage sliced

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

3 cloves garlic minced

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese grated

2 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the bowtie pasta, and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and add ground beef with smoked sausage. Cook until beef is browned and sausage edges are crisp.

3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add Cajun seasoning and mix well.

4. Pour in heavy cream, stir in Parmesan cheese, and simmer until sauce thickens slightly. Add reserved pasta water if needed.

5. Toss in cooked pasta, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot with extra Parmesan.

Notes

Use andouille sausage for a more authentic Cajun flavor.

Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste if you prefer it milder.

For a veggie boost, add sautéed bell peppers or spinach.
