Description

This slow cooker teriyaki meatballs recipe is an easy and flavorful dinner idea featuring tender meatballs simmered in a sticky homemade teriyaki sauce. Perfect for meal prep, weeknight dinners, or party appetizers.


Ingredients

32 oz frozen meatballs

1 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, honey, and rice vinegar.

2. Place frozen meatballs in a slow cooker. Pour sauce over them and stir to coat.

3. Cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2.5–3 hours.

4. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, mix cornstarch with water and stir it into the sauce to thicken.

5. Just before serving, garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

6. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or as appetizers.

Notes

This recipe can be doubled for larger gatherings.
