Ingredients
2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
1 can creamed corn
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup crushed buttery crackers, divided
2 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons butter, melted
0.5 teaspoon salt
0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium baking dish.
2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together whole kernel corn, creamed corn, eggs, milk, half the crushed crackers, sugar, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
4. In a small bowl, combine the remaining crushed crackers with a bit of melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
5. Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
6. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
