Description

This Simple Asian Ground Beef Noodles recipe is a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner ready in under 30 minutes. Made with pantry staples and savory-sweet Asian-inspired sauce, this noodle dish is comforting, satisfying, and easy to customize.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1/3 cup soy sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tsp sesame oil

1/2 tsp chili flakes

2 green onions, chopped

8 oz noodles (lo mein or ramen)

1 tbsp cornstarch

1/4 cup reserved pasta water (optional)

Instructions

1. Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.

2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet. Sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, chili flakes, and cornstarch. Simmer 2–3 minutes to thicken.

5. Toss in noodles and mix to coat evenly. Add reserved pasta water if needed.

6. Garnish with green onions and extra sesame oil. Serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly minced garlic and ginger for the boldest flavor.

Adjust chili flakes to control heat level.

Leftovers reheat well with a splash of water for sauciness.
