This Quick Honey Garlic Chicken Stir Fry is a fast and flavorful one-pan dinner made with juicy chicken, crisp veggies, and a sticky honey garlic sauce. Perfect for weeknights, it’s a healthy stir fry recipe that’s ready in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
1 lb chicken thighs or breasts, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1⁄4 cup honey
1⁄4 cup soy sauce
1⁄4 cup water
2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
2 green onions, sliced (optional)
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and water. Set aside.
2. Toss sliced chicken with cornstarch until evenly coated.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
4. Add chicken in a single layer and cook until golden brown and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
5. Add remaining oil to the pan if needed. Stir fry the vegetables until crisp-tender.
6. Return the chicken to the pan. Pour in the sauce and stir to coat everything.
7. Let the sauce simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened.
8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
9. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
Use any vegetables you have on hand for flexibility.
Add chili flakes or sriracha to spice things up.
Double the sauce if you like it extra saucy.
