Description
These Quick Greek Turkey Meatballs with Tzatziki are a flavorful, healthy Mediterranean dinner made with lean ground turkey, garlic, herbs, and a fresh homemade tzatziki sauce. Perfect for meal prep, wraps, bowls, or a quick weeknight dinner idea.
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large egg
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup cucumber, grated and drained
1 clove garlic, minced (for tzatziki)
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt (for tzatziki)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, red onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs until just combined.
2. Preheat oven to 400°F. Shape mixture into meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
3. Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and fully cooked.
4. For tzatziki, combine grated cucumber (squeezed dry), Greek yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice, and salt. Stir well and chill.
5. Serve meatballs warm with tzatziki on the side or in pitas, bowls, or as part of a mezze spread.
Notes
Make sure to not overmix the meatball mixture to avoid a dense texture.
Grate the cucumber and squeeze well to avoid a watery tzatziki.
Serve immediately for best flavor, or store in the fridge for meal prep.
