Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 cups cooked white rice
2 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and break it apart as it cooks. Brown evenly and drain excess fat.
2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the beef. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Pour the sauce over the beef and stir well.
4. Let the beef simmer in the sauce for 2 to 3 minutes so the flavors combine.
5. Serve the beef over bowls of cooked white rice. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
