Juicy meatballs simmered in a tangy-sweet cranberry sauce with chili and brown sugar make this a fast, flavorful recipe perfect for holidays or weeknights. Great with mashed potatoes, rice, or served as a cocktail snack.
Ingredients
1 lb meatballs (frozen or homemade)
1 can (14 oz) whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth and bring to a simmer.
2. Add the meatballs directly into the sauce. If using frozen meatballs, no need to thaw. Stir to coat evenly.
3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve warm in a dish or keep in a slow cooker for gatherings. Enjoy!
Notes
