Ingredients
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.
3. Slice the slider buns horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
4. Evenly spread the BBQ chicken mixture over the bottom buns.
5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the chicken.
6. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
7. Melt the butter and stir in garlic powder and parsley.
8. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the buns.
9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
10. Remove the foil and bake another 5 minutes until the tops are golden.
11. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
Add jalapeños for a spicy kick.
Swap cheddar with smoked gouda for a deeper flavor.
