Description

PF Changs Chicken Lettuce Wraps are a quick, healthy, and flavorful dinner or appetizer idea. Made with ground chicken, hoisin sauce, ginger, and crisp butter lettuce, they’re a copycat favorite perfect for any night of the week. Easy, low carb, and full of umami flavor, these wraps are a better-than-takeout staple.


Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound ground chicken

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

3 tablespoons soy sauce

3 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 teaspoons sesame oil

1 can water chestnuts, diced

3 green onions, chopped

1 head butter lettuce, separated into cups


Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and grated ginger and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

2. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-6 minutes.

3. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it simmer for 2 minutes.

4. Add in chopped water chestnuts and green onions, cooking for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.

5. Spoon the hot filling into butter lettuce leaves. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

These wraps are best served fresh for maximum crispiness.

You can substitute ground turkey or tofu for chicken if needed.

Double the batch and store the filling for easy lunches all week.
