2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions

2. Wash the green beans, trim the ends, and dry them very well.
3. Place the green beans on a baking sheet.
4. Drizzle with olive oil and add the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
5. Spread the green beans into an even layer.
6. Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
7. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the green beans during the last 3 minutes of roasting.
8. Remove from the oven, drizzle with lemon juice, and serve warm.
Notes
Fresh green beans give the best texture and roast more evenly than frozen ones.
Dry the beans well before roasting so they blister instead of steam.
For extra flavor, add a little lemon zest or a pinch of red pepper flakes before serving.
