Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 eggs

2 tablespoons olive oil

12 oz gemelli pasta

1 cup heavy cream

4 oz cream cheese

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 cup shredded smoked Gouda

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves minced garlic


Instructions

1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Whisk eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt.

2. In another bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Dip chicken pieces in the egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.

4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Fry chicken until golden and crispy. Set aside on paper towels.

5. Cook gemelli pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

6. In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic.

7. Stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.

8. Pour in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning; simmer gently.

9. Stir in shredded smoked Gouda and melt completely.

10. Toss cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until fully coated.

11. Serve pasta with crispy chicken bites on top or alongside.
