Ingredients

8 oz feta cheese

8 phyllo dough sheets or spring roll wrappers

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

3 tbsp honey

1 tsp red pepper flakes or 1 tsp chili oil

1 tsp lemon zest (optional)


Instructions

1. Slice feta into finger-length sticks that are not too thick.

2. Lay out phyllo sheets or wrappers and place a feta stick on one edge. Roll up like a cigar, folding in the sides.

3. Brush with olive oil or butter and place on a lined baking sheet.

4. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 to 18 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crisp.

5. In a small saucepan, warm the honey with chili flakes or chili oil. Add lemon zest if using.

6. Once rolls are baked, drizzle with chili honey while hot. Serve immediately.
