Description
One-Pot Spicy Chicken Linguine in Creamy Sauce is a quick and flavorful pasta dinner with tender chicken, a touch of heat, and a creamy parmesan sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights and made entirely in one pot.
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
8 oz linguine pasta
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pot, sear chicken until cooked through and golden brown. Remove and slice.
2. In the same pot, add more olive oil if needed and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add red pepper flakes and cook briefly.
3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add heavy cream and stir well to combine.
4. Add uncooked linguine to the pot. Stir to coat and ensure pasta is submerged. Cover and cook until pasta is tender.
5. Return chicken to the pot. Add Parmesan and stir until sauce thickens and clings to the pasta.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
This recipe serves four hearty portions.
Add extra cream or broth if sauce thickens too much while cooling.
Adjust red pepper flakes to taste for more or less spice.
