Ingredients
12 frozen dumplings
1 tablespoon oil
1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
2 green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons water
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add frozen dumplings flat-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes until bottoms are golden.
2. Pour 3 tablespoons of water into the skillet and cover with a lid. Steam dumplings for 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
3. Push dumplings to one side of the pan. Add carrots, bell peppers, and green onions to the other side. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, cornstarch, and 1 tablespoon water.
5. Pour sauce into the skillet. Toss everything gently and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
6. Garnish with extra green onions or sesame seeds and serve hot.
Notes
Use nonstick or cast iron for best dumpling crisp.
Add chili flakes or sriracha for a spicy kick.
