Description

Creamy, rich, and irresistibly easy, this One Pan Butter Parmesan Pasta is the perfect weeknight comfort meal. Made with simple ingredients in a single pan, it’s a cheesy, buttery pasta dish you’ll crave often.

Ingredients

4 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

12 ounces pasta (penne or rotini preferred)

3 cups water

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.

2. Pour in the water and salt, bring to a boil. Stir in pasta and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and water is mostly absorbed.

3. Stir in the heavy cream, then add parmesan cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. Simmer for another 1 to 2 minutes to thicken.

4. Season with black pepper and more salt if needed. Serve hot with extra parmesan or herbs on top if desired.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor and texture.

Add grilled chicken or sautéed vegetables for a heartier dish.

Stir gently while pasta cooks to prevent sticking.
