These No Bake Salted Caramel Pretzel Bars are the perfect sweet and salty dessert. With buttery caramel, crunchy pretzels, and rich chocolate, they’re an easy no bake treat for parties, holidays, or whenever you crave a quick indulgent bite. Make-ahead, freezer-friendly, and full of flavor!
Ingredients
2 cups mini pretzels
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons heavy cream
Instructions
1. Crush the pretzels into small chunks and mix with melted butter and a pinch of sea salt. Press into a parchment-lined 8×8 pan to form the base. Chill while you make the caramel.
2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until thickened and golden, about 8–10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
3. Pour caramel mixture over the pretzel base. Spread evenly and refrigerate until set.
4. Melt chocolate chips with heavy cream until smooth. Pour over the caramel layer and spread to cover. Sprinkle additional sea salt if desired.
5. Refrigerate again until chocolate is firm. Slice into bars and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure to stir the caramel constantly to avoid burning.
Let bars sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before cutting for cleaner slices.
Use flaky sea salt on top for extra texture and flavor contrast.
