Description

Mint Aero Brownies are rich, fudgy chocolate brownies packed with airy mint chocolate for the perfect balance of deep cocoa flavor and cool mint sweetness. This easy brownie recipe is ideal for holiday baking, dessert trays, parties, or anytime you want a soft and chewy mint chocolate treat.


Ingredients

2/3 cup unsalted butter

4 oz dark chocolate, chopped

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp salt

2 bars Mint Aero chocolate, chopped

1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a heatproof bowl until smooth, then let it cool slightly.

3. Whisk in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until the mixture looks thick and glossy.

4. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until fully combined.

5. Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt just until no dry streaks remain.

6. Stir in most of the chopped Mint Aero and the chocolate chips, saving a few mint chocolate pieces for the top.

7. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.

8. Scatter the remaining Mint Aero pieces on top.

9. Bake for 28 to 34 minutes, until the edges are set and the center still looks slightly soft.

10. Cool completely before slicing for the cleanest brownie squares.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs so the batter mixes smoothly and bakes evenly.

Do not overmix once the flour goes in or the brownies can lose their tender fudgy texture.

For cleaner slices, chill the brownies for 30 minutes before cutting.
