Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole is a rich, cheesy, layered pasta bake made with spaghetti, creamy cheeses, savory meat sauce, and a golden topping. This comfort food classic is perfect for family dinners or make-ahead meals and is loved for its simple ingredients and delicious flavor.
Ingredients
16 oz spaghetti
1 lb ground beef
24 oz marinara sauce
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 tbsp butter, cut into pieces
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Boil salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain fat and add marinara sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, ricotta, and sour cream until smooth.
4. Grease a baking dish and layer half of the cooked spaghetti on the bottom.
5. Spread the cheese mixture over the spaghetti.
6. Add the remaining spaghetti on top of the cheese layer.
7. Pour the meat sauce evenly over the spaghetti layers.
8. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
9. Dot the top with pieces of butter.
10. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
11. Uncover and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
12. Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole freezes well either before or after baking.
Add Italian sausage for more flavor.
Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
