Description

This Marry Me Shrimp Pasta is a rich and creamy shrimp pasta recipe featuring sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, parmesan, and a luscious cream sauce. Perfect for date night or a quick weeknight dinner, this flavorful dish is ready to impress and easy to make.

Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 oz fettuccine or linguine

1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

¾ cup parmesan cheese, grated

2 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain.

2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then cook for 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3. Lower heat, add more olive oil if needed. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in sun-dried tomatoes.

4. Add chicken broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Pour in heavy cream and parmesan, stirring until smooth.

5. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat. Add drained pasta and a bit of reserved pasta water if needed.

6. Stir everything together until pasta is coated and heated through.

7. Serve with extra parmesan, cracked pepper, and fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

This pasta is best served immediately for maximum creaminess.

Use fresh shrimp for the best texture and flavor.

Add a splash of white wine to the sauce for depth.
