Description

Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

8 oz bowtie pasta

4 cloves garlic minced

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional)


Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.

3. Sear chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

4. Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.

5. In the same skillet, melt more butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

6. Add lemon juice, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir and simmer 3-4 minutes to thicken.

7. Slice the chicken and return to skillet. Add cooked pasta and a splash of pasta water to loosen sauce.

8. Stir gently to coat everything in the sauce.

9. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Let pasta cool before storing to keep the sauce creamy.

Use chicken thighs if preferred for extra juiciness.

Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for variation.
