Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 cups cooked white rice
2 stalks green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Break apart the meat as it cooks and drain any excess fat if needed.
2. Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the beef.
3. Divide the cooked rice into bowls. Top with the seasoned ground beef mixture.
4. Garnish each bowl with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
5. Serve immediately or store for meal prep.
