Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 package refrigerated crescent dough
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Optional pickles or burger toppings for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain grease.
3. Season the beef with salt, pepper, and half the garlic powder. Let cool slightly.
4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles or roll out pizza dough into rectangles.
5. Place a spoonful of beef mixture onto the wide end of each piece of dough.
6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the beef.
7. Roll up the dough tightly, sealing the filling inside.
8. Mix melted butter with remaining garlic powder.
9. Brush the tops of the rollups with the garlic butter.
10. Place rollups on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
11. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
12. Cool slightly and serve warm with dipping sauces or toppings.
Notes
These rollups taste best fresh from the oven.
You can swap crescent dough for pizza dough if preferred.
Add pickles or burger sauce on the side for extra flavor.
