Description

This Hot Honey Cajun Chicken Alfredo with Basil Feta Swirl & Crispy Brussels Chips is a bold twist on classic Alfredo. With spicy Cajun chicken, a sweet drizzle of hot honey, and crispy Brussels sprout chips, it’s a creamy pasta recipe packed with flavor. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or a cozy weekend indulgence.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese

3 garlic cloves

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp hot honey

12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

½ cup feta cheese

¼ cup fresh basil leaves

1 cup Brussels sprouts

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Trim and halve Brussels sprouts, peel away outer leaves, and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast at 400°F for 15-20 minutes until crispy. Set aside.

2. Coat chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning. Sear in a hot skillet with olive oil until golden and fully cooked. Slice into strips.

3. Blend feta, fresh basil, olive oil, and a splash of cream into a smooth swirl. Set aside.

4. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.

5. In the chicken skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, then pour in cream and simmer. Stir in Parmesan until melted. Add reserved pasta water to adjust thickness.

6. Toss pasta in Alfredo sauce, top with chicken, drizzle hot honey, swirl in basil feta, and garnish with Brussels chips and extra Parmesan.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best melt and texture.

Adjust hot honey to taste depending on your spice preference.

The basil feta swirl can be made a day ahead and refrigerated.
