Description

Hot Cocoa Brownie Bites are rich, chewy mini desserts inspired by your favorite winter drink. These easy-to-make chocolate treats feature a gooey marshmallow center, perfect for holiday parties, dessert trays, or cozy nights. A bite-sized brownie recipe with cocoa powder, simple ingredients, and big hot chocolate flavor.


Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

24 mini marshmallows

1/3 cup chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a mini muffin tin.

2. Melt butter in a large bowl, then whisk in granulated and brown sugar.

3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

5. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips if using.

6. Spoon batter into the mini muffin tin, filling each 3/4 full.

7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until tops are set but centers are soft.

8. Immediately press a mini marshmallow into the center of each warm brownie.

9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

10. For toasted marshmallow tops, broil for 30 seconds to 1 minute until golden.

Notes

These brownie bites are best served warm for a gooey center.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.

Freeze leftovers for up to 1 month and reheat as needed.
