Description

This homemade peanut sauce recipe is creamy, spicy, and deliciously nutty—perfect for spring rolls, noodles, or grilled meats. Made with peanut butter, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, this versatile dip is quick to whip up and stores beautifully.

Ingredients

1/2 cup peanut butter

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lime juice

1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 to 2 teaspoons chili garlic sauce or sriracha

3 to 5 tablespoons warm water

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and maple syrup. Whisk until smooth.

2. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and chili sauce. Mix well to incorporate.

3. Slowly add warm water, one tablespoon at a time, whisking until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.

4. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add more soy for saltiness, lime juice for tang, or syrup for sweetness.

5. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to one week. Reheat gently or stir in warm water to loosen before serving.

Notes

Use natural peanut butter for best flavor and texture.

Adjust chili sauce to suit your spice preference.

To make it vegan, use maple syrup instead of honey.
