Description
This Garlic Steak & Cheese-Filled Tortellini Skillet recipe is a one-pan wonder packed with juicy steak, creamy garlic sauce, and melty cheese tortellini. A perfect weeknight dinner, rich in flavor and ready in 30 minutes.
Ingredients
1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip)
10 oz cheese-filled tortellini
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper, then sear until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
2. Reduce heat and add butter to the skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
4. Add cheese-filled tortellini and cook in the sauce until heated through and tender, about 4–5 minutes.
5. Slice the cooked steak and return it to the skillet. Warm through for 1–2 minutes.
6. Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
Use high-quality steak for best tenderness.
For extra depth, add a splash of white wine to the sauce.
Make it spicy by adding red pepper flakes to the garlic step.
