Ingredients
1 pound sirloin steak
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
12 ounces twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season sirloin pieces with salt and pepper. Sear steak bites in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Set aside.
2. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to skillet. Cook until golden and fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. In a separate pot, cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Drain pasta.
4. Pour heavy cream into garlic butter skillet. Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese. Add pasta water if needed.
5. Add drained pasta and cooked steak to skillet. Toss to coat evenly. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.
Adjust Cajun spice to your preferred heat level.
Reserve pasta water to loosen the sauce as needed.
