Description
This garlic butter steak bites and creamy chipotle white cheddar shells recipe is a flavor-packed dinner with juicy seared steak, bold garlic butter, and cheesy chipotle pasta. A quick, indulgent meal perfect for weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip)
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 oz shell pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded
2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
1. Heat a skillet over high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, add steak cubes seasoned with salt and pepper. Sear until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
2. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic to the skillet. Stir until fragrant. Return steak to the pan and coat in garlic butter. Remove from heat.
3. Boil shell pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
4. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until smooth. Add chipotle peppers, a spoonful of adobo sauce, and smoked paprika. Mix until creamy.
5. Combine pasta with cheese sauce. Serve with garlic butter steak bites on top or on the side. Enjoy immediately.
Notes
Use room temperature steak for a better sear.
Add more chipotle if you prefer extra heat.
Reheat pasta with a splash of cream to keep it creamy.
