Description

A fluffy, golden Garlic Butter Focaccia recipe with crispy edges, infused with rich garlic butter and perfect for dipping, serving with meals, or enjoying as a savory snack. Easy homemade focaccia with simple ingredients, ideal for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet active dry yeast

1 cup warm water

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.

2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a rough dough forms, then knead until smooth.

3. Transfer to an oiled bowl. Cover and rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, until doubled.

4. Press dough into a greased baking pan. Let rise again for 30-45 minutes.

5. Melt butter and cook garlic gently until fragrant. Stir in parsley if using.

6. Preheat oven to 425°F. Dimple dough with fingers and pour garlic butter on top.

7. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Let the dough rise fully for a light and airy texture.

Use fresh garlic for the boldest flavor.

Refrigerating the dough overnight deepens the taste.
